The spelling “BVLGARI” with a “V” dates back to the classical Latin alphabet, in which “U” and “V” were written with the same letter. The family adopted this spelling in 1934 when the flagship store on Via Condotti in Rome reopened. Therefore, the “V” is pronounced like a “U.”
