Bulgari History
In 1884, the Greek Sotirios Voulgaris settled in Rome and founded the Bulgari jewellery shop. He then changed his name from Voulgaris to Bulgari. Bulgari quickly convinced with oustanding Italian quality. Sotirio Bulgari personally was inspired by the city and created the most exceptional watches and jewellery. His international breakthrough made Bulgari a major player in the luxury segment – from watches and jewellery to accessories and perfume.
